Safari Day 1: "Elephant Exploration" Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
  • Depart from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park, famous for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the legendary Super Tuskers. (approximately 5-6 hours).
  • Check in at your camp/lodge and enjoy a scrumptious lunch.
  • Embark on an afternoon game drive, witnessing herds of elephants up close against the backdrop of Africa's highest peak cropped with snow.
  • Return for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.
Safari Day 2: "Encounter the Elephants" Full Day in Amboseli Game Drive
  • Start the day with an early morning game drive after a heavy breakfast, capturing the sunrise over the vast Amboseli plains and photographing wildlife in the golden light.
  • Encounter lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and other iconic animals like common wildebeest, and the occasional leopards in their natural habitat.
  • Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the stunning landscapes of Amboseli.
  • Explore the park further during the afternoon game drive, immersing yourself in the wonders of this unique ecosystem.
  • Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and relax, mesmerized by the incredible sights and sounds of Amboseli.
Safari Day 3: "Flamingo Fantasy" Amboseli to Lake Nakuru
  • Depart Amboseli after an early breakfast and journey towards Lake Nakuru National Park (approximately 7 hours) viewing the stunning scenery of Kenya’s Great Rift Valley on your way.
  • A stopover at a scenic viewpoint to admire the stunning view and take photos of the Great Rift valley. Hand-made souvenirs may be bought here from local artisans as they amuse you with myths and folktales about how the Rift Valley came to be.
  • Arrive at your lodge/budget hotel and savor a delicious lunch.
  • Embark on an evening game drive, discovering the park's diverse wildlife, including white rhinos, black rhinos, hippos, lions, leopards, buffalos, and the endangered Rothschild giraffes.
  • Witness the mesmerizing sight of thousands of pink flamingos along the lake's shores.

Safari Day 4: "The Big Five" Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

  • Arrive and check-in at the camp/lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch.
  • Venture out for an afternoon game drive, encountering lions, cheetahs, and other iconic wildlife like coke’s hartebeest and the wild beasts.

Safari Day 5: "Savannah Serenade" Full Day in Masai Mara
  • Start the day with an early morning game drive after a hearty breakfast, as the sun rises over the vast savannahs of Maasai Mara witnessing predators on the hunt and herbivores grazing peacefully in the golden light.
  • Keep an eye out for the iconic Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, white and black rhinos.
  • Explore different areas of the reserve, each offering unique wildlife sightings and stunning vistas.
  • Take a break for a bush picnic lunch amidst the wilderness, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.

Safari Day 6: Masai Mara to Nairobi
  • Early breakfast and check out.
  • On this day there is an optional Maasai village visit for a cultural.
  • Depart to Nairobi with a stop over lunch at a tastefully selected restaurant.
  • Drop off at your hotel or the airport.
  • Meet, Greet and Assist services.
  • Park fees to the game reserve
  • Full board accommodation while on Safari.
  • Game drives in the parks and game reserves visited.
  • A professional driver/guide.

Essential Travel Tips for Your East African Adventure

Clothing On Safari

Make sure you pack different layers of clothes. During the day temperatures may vary and wearing different layers makes it easy to quickly adapt to weather changes. Pack protective clothing against the sun and mosquitoes. Also don’t forget your swimming clothes and a poncho and/or a raincoat to stay dry during unexpected rain showers.


Sunglasses are another essential item to pack for a safari in Kenya. The sun can be pretty harsh, so protecting your eyes from the glare is necessary. We recommend packing a pair of polarized sunglasses that will reduce glare and provide 100% UV protection.


A hat is a must-have item when going on a safari in East Africa. Not only will it protect you from the harsh sun, but it will also keep your head cool and prevent mosquito bites. We recommend packing a wide-brimmed hat to provide maximum protection against the sun. A baseball cap or visor will do the trick if you don’t have a wide-brimmed hat.

Insect Repellent

Remember to pack insect repellent! Mosquitoes are everywhere in Kenya, so protecting yourself from bites is essential. Pack a strong insect repellent that contains at least 30% DEET. Apply the repellent liberally all over your body, especially in areas where mosquitoes are known to bite, such as the ankles, wrists, and neck.

Single Use Plastic

The import of plastic is banned in several countries in East Africa. When traveling, ensure you don’t carry plastic bags or other disposable plastic items. We fully support this change and recommend you bring your drinking bottle to refill with the water we provide on your safari. If you have any questions about which items are allowed in the country of arrival, do not hesitate to ask us!
