5-Days & 4-NightsThis 5-day adventure is designed to showcase two of Tanzania’s most captivating wildlife destinations: the Ndutu Area, famous for the Great Migration, and the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site boasting the highest concentration of animals in Africa.

Day 1: Arusha to Ndutu Area

• Pick up from your Arusha hotel and depart for the Ndutu Area, a wildlife-rich haven within the Ngorongoro-Lengai Conservation Area.
• Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the camp.
• Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Ndutu plains, where you’ll witness vast herds of wildebeest and zebra grazing on the lush, short grasses.
• Look out for predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas waiting to pounce on unsuspecting prey.
• Check into your Ndutu safari camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Exploring the Ndutu Area

• Rise with the sun and embark on an exhilarating morning game drive. Witness the calving season (December to March) where thousands of wildebeest calves are born daily.
• The Ndutu area is also home to a variety of resident animals, including majestic elephants, graceful giraffes, agile gazelles, topi, and elands.
• Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the heart of the savannah.
• In the afternoon, embark on another game drive, focusing on different areas of the Ndutu plains.
• Return to your camp for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 3: Ndutu Area to Serengeti National Park

• After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National Park, the crown jewel of Tanzania’s wildlife reserves.
• Depending on the time of year, you might encounter the tail end of the Great Migration, with wildebeest herds thundering across the plains in a display of raw power and instinct.
• Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti, spotting a vast array of animals like lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and gazelles.
• Spend the night at your Serengeti safari camp.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

• Embark on a morning game drive in the Serengeti, searching for predators and prey( the elusive big five and other iconic species) in the vast savannah.
• After lunch, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the most breathtaking natural wonders of the world.
• Descend into the crater rim for breathtaking views of the “caldera,” a collapsed volcanic cone teeming with an incredible concentration of wildlife.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

• Enjoy a full-day game drive within the crater, spotting the incredible concentration of animals like lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and the elusive black rhinos (with some luck!).
• The crater is a haven for birdlife as well, with ostrich, eagles, vultures, and flamingoes commonly sighted.
• After lunch, ascend the crater rim and depart for Arusha, where your safari comes to an end.
