Explore two of Kenya’s top wildlife destinations on this 4-day safari combining Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru National Park. Travel in a shared 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeep with a pop-up roof, designed for comfortable game viewing. Enjoy guided game drives in Masai Mara, known for the Big Five and seasonal wildlife migration, followed by a visit to Lake Nakuru, famous for its rhino sanctuary and birdlife. This experience combines wildlife viewing with a comfortable camp stay and scenic travel through the Great Rift Valley, making it ideal for travelers seeking a structured and social safari experience.
 

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara

  • At 7:00 AM arrive at the office for brief meeting and meet other travelers (Phoenix House, next to Uganda House, Kenyatta Avenue, Nairobi city Centre)

  • Drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stop for photos

  • Arrive at Rhino tourist Camp in time for lunch

  • Enjoy an afternoon/sunset game drive in the reserve

  • Dinner and overnight at the camp (comfortable tents/rooms with private facilities)

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara Reserve

  • After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch

  • Explore different areas of the reserve in search of the Big Five and other wildlife

  • Visit the Mara River, known for hippos and crocodiles, and a key point during the migration season

  • Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Masai Mara/L. Nakuru

  • After breakfast, depart Masai Mara

  • You may opt to visit a Masai Village  (optional) to learn about local culture

  • Continue to Nakuru, arriving in the evening

  • Check in at your hotel and enjoy time at leisure

  • Dinner and overnight at Buraha Zenoni Hotel or similar

Day 4: Day Lake Nakuru/Nairobi

  • After an early breakfast, head to Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning game drive

  • The park is known for its rhino sanctuary and birdlife

  • After the game drive, begin the journey back to Nairobi with a stop for lunch en route

  • Drop-off at your hotel in the afternoon

Exclusions
  • Park entry fees (Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru) Masai Mara: $100 per person per entry (2 entries) from 1st Jan – 30th June and $200 per person per entry from 1st July- 31st Dec. Note: Children (USD 50 per entry from January to December- 9 yrs to 17 yrs, 8 yrs and below is free of charge.) & Lake Nakuru ($90 per person: only 1 entry. Note: USD 45 per child 3 to 17 yrs).
  • Masai Village  visit (optional) @ 20 USD per person
  • Hot Air Balloon Safari (optional) @ 435 USD per person which is done on day 2 early in the morning and then continue with the normal program of the day.

  • Shared group safari (max 8 people per vehicle)
  • Daily departures available from Nairobi CBD.
  • Airport drop-off available at extra cost
  • Park fees payable separately
  •  Maasai Mara Park fees/entrance fees USD 100 per person per entry ( January to June) and USD 200 per person per entry (July to October). Children (USD 50 per day from January to December- 9 yrs to 17 yrs, below 8 yrs is free of charge
  • Lake Nakuru park fees USD 90 per adult & USD 45 per child- 3 to 17 yrs 
  •  For a single person booking, he/she can opt for a single tent and that will cost at an extra of USD 40 for the 3 nights
  • Masai Village  entry costs approx. USD 20
  • The optional Hot Air Balloon Safari can be arranged during the tour for USD 435 per person
