Day 1: Mombasa to Nairobi and Masai Mara

• Depart Mombasa by bus (pre-booked), and begin your journey to Nairobi and arrive early morning at Kairi Tours and Safaris office.
• After briefing by office staff, continue your journey to Masai Mara National Reserve. (approximately 5 hour drive)
• Enjoy your journey through the scenic Great Rift Valley and take photos of the spectacular views.
• Enjoy a stopover at a viewpoint for photo opportunities of the stunning landscape.
• Arrive at Masai Mara National Reserve and check into your camp/lodge and have a delicious lunch.
• Enjoy camp/lodge amenities in the afternoon and relax.
• Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Masai Mara full day game drives

• Start your day with an optional hot air balloon safari at dawn (advance booking required). Experience breathtaking views of the Mara plains and wildlife from above.
• Enjoy a champagne bush breakfast after the balloon ride.
• Set out on a morning game drive with your guide.
• Explore different areas of the reserve, with a major focus on the Mara River, known for the Great Wildebeest Migration.
• Spot large herds of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals crossing the river (seasonal).
• Return to the lodge/camp for a nicely prepared lunch and relaxation.
• Continue with another game drive in the late afternoon.
• Visit other prime spots for wildlife viewing and photography.
• Watch for predators like lions and cheetahs as they hunt.
• Return to the lodge/camp, freshen up, and enjoy a delicious dinner.
• Relax and recount the day’s adventures.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Nairobi and Mombasa

• Rise up early for a hearty breakfast and check out.
• There is an option of visiting Maasai Cultural village to explore their rich culture just along the boundaries of Masai Mara reserve.
• Depart to Nairobi with a stopover lunch at a tastefully selected restaurant.
• Drop off at the hotel or the airport.
