Day 1: Mombasa to Nairobi and Masai Mara

• Start the day with an early morning breakfast at your beach hotel/resort in Mombasa.
• Arrive at Moi International Airport for your flight to Nairobi connecting to Masai Mara.
• Enjoy the scenic flight over the Great Rift Valley.
• Arrive at Masai Mara airstrip where your professional safari guide will meet you.
• Check into your chosen safari lodge/camp. Savour a delicious lunch at the lodge or camp.
• After a brief rest, head out for an exciting afternoon game drive.
• Start spotting the “Big Five” – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. Also, look for other wildlife like cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests.
• Return to the lodge/camp, freshen up, and enjoy a delicious dinner.
• Relax and enjoy the evening, sharing stories and experiences of the day.

Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day Game Drives

• Start your day with an early morning optional but very interesting hot air balloon safari at dawn (advance booking required). And experience the breathtaking views of the Mara plains and wildlife from above. Enjoy a champagne bush breakfast after the hot air balloon ride.
• Set out on a morning game drive with your guide.
• Explore different areas of the reserve, including the Mara River, known for the Great Wildebeest Migration.
• Spot large herds of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals crossing the river (seasonal).
• Enjoy a nicely prepared picnic lunch as you relax and await the afternoon game drive
• Continue with game drive in the late afternoon.
• Visit other prime spots for wildlife viewing and photography.
• Watch for predators like lions and cheetahs as they hunt.
• Return to the lodge/camp, freshen up, and enjoy a delicious dinner.
• Relax and recount the day’s adventures.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Nairobi and Mombasa

• Start the day with a hearty breakfast and check out.
• There is an option of visiting Masai Cultural village to experience the rich Maasai community culture.
• Get to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi.
• You will be picked at Wilson airport and drop off at your hotel.
