Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East National Park.

• Start the day with an early morning breakfast at your beach hotel/resort in Mombasa.
• Pick up from your beach hotel or at the Mombasa port (on arrival).
• Meet your professional multi-lingual safari guide and board the customized Kairi Tours 4×4 Safari Jeep.
• Head out on the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway to Tsavo East National Park. (About 2-3 hours drive)
• Pass local farms as you traverse the scenic plains.
• Enjoy the drive with potential short stopovers for refreshments and photo opportunities along the way.
• Arrive at Tsavo East National Park and begin your first game drive upon arrival.
• Start spotting Africa’s “Big Game” – lion, leopard, Cape buffalo, and herds of elephants.
• Check in and enjoy a delicious lunch at your chosen safari lodge or tented camp.
• After a quality rest, head out for an exciting afternoon game drive.
• Spot more wildlife, such as zebra, cheetah, warthog, and giraffe.
• As the temperature cools, watch for big game emerging to forage for food.
• Return to the Lodge/Camp, freshen up, and enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge or camp.
• Relax and enjoy the evening, sharing stories and experiences of the day.

Day 2: Tsavo East National Park – Mombasa

• Set out on an early morning game drive with the rising sun and the first stirring of the animals.
• This is the best time to view the awakening savannah and wildlife as it emerges into the new day.
• Spot the abundant birdlife, including lovebirds, black kites, and ibis.
• Enjoy a nicely prepared picnic breakfast as you view the wildlife in an open space.
• Continue with a final game drive as you enjoy the wide savannah of Tsavo East National Park.
• Visit the Aruba Dam and Mudanda Rock, well-known watering holes where thousands of animals come to drink. Take photos of the animals as they crowd this scenic area.
• Return to your lodge/camp for a nicely prepared lunch, and have a quality rest as you relax at your lodge.
• Check out from the lodge/camp of stay, depart Tsavo East, and drive back to the coast.
• Enjoy the scenic route and reflect on your beautiful safari adventure.
• Arrive back at your hotel or the Mombasa port.
• End of the safari tour with wonderful memories and photos of your marvelous adventure.
