Day 1: Mombasa to Nairobi and Masai Mara

• Start the day with an early breakfast at your beach hotel/resort in Mombasa.
• Arrive at Moi International Airport for your flight to Nairobi.
• Upon arrival in Nairobi, connect to a flight to Masai Mara, enjoying the scenic views over the Great Rift Valley.
• Arrive at Maasai Mara airstrip where your professional safari guide from Kairi Tours will meet you.
• Check in to your chosen safari lodge or tented camp and savor a delicious lunch at the lodge or camp.
• After a brief rest, head out for an exciting afternoon game drive.
• Spot the “Big Five” – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.
• Also, look for other wildlife like cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests.
• Return to the lodge/camp, freshen up, and enjoy a delicious dinner.
• Relax and enjoy the evening, sharing stories and experiences of the day.

Day 2: Masai Mara to Nairobi and Mombasa

• Embark on an optional but exciting hot air balloon safari at dawn (advance booking required). Experience breathtaking views of the Mara plains and wildlife from above.
• Enjoy a champagne bush breakfast after the balloon ride. Then set out on a morning game drive with your guide.
• Explore different areas of the reserve, with a focus on the Mara River, known for the Great Wildebeest Migration.
• Spot large herds of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals crossing the river (seasonal).
• Return to the lodge/camp for a hearty breakfast.
• Check out from the lodge/camp and transfer to the airstrip.
• Board your flight back to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi and move to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back to Mombasa.
• Arrive in Mombasa where you’ll be taken back to your beach hotel/resort or the Mombasa port.
• End of the safari tour with wonderful memories and photos of your marvelous adventure.
